The Relais Ravestein, a 4 Star Hotel in the beautiful town of Bruge in Belgium was the location for a wonderful 2 hour photo shoot with Steven & Marijke Hoornaert with their lovely new daughter Alixe.
We will post more of this shoot when the parents have had their pick of the images.
Time flies and it doesn’t seem like 2 weeks since our last post after returning from London. A quiet period in the studio allowed us to get some long needed decorating done and to discover Kubota Actions for Photoshop. Actions in Photoshop allow you to automate a lot of processes and many simple actions are freely available on the web or the really clever can create their own. However on recommendation from Faye Yerbury we decided to investigate the actions available from Kubota, in particular their Studio Pro Pack.
There is no doubt there is a lot to learn but these actions can really speed up post processing and can create some dramatic images. We have posted some after and before shots.
No red bus pictures, no houses of Parliament; we spent 3 days in London at a Photography Trade Show looking at some new equipment, processing software and picture presentation packages for 2010. We aim to be presenting fotologic’s customers images in a new way soon – more will be revealed later. While we were there we took the opportunity of a photo shoot and also attended a Lighting Training class. We have always been proud enough to admit that you can never stop learning and when the chance to learn from 2 masters of Photography, Martin Grahame Dunn & Kevin Wilson, arose with all the proceeds also going to the Help for Heroes Charity we jumped at the chance.

Night 1 of a double headed party night is over for fotologic and all the images from the Event on 18th Dec have been uploaded to the client area of our web site. Ian, Julie and Callum hope that everyone enjoyed themselves and whish all the guests a Happy Christmas and very Merry New Year.
Tonight is night 2 and all the images from tonight will be uploaded by 1700 on Monday when we will also post some of the best on our blog.
This Friday fotologic were booked to provide Event Photography for Leica Micro-systems Christmas Oscars Awards Night and by 0130 Saturday morning it was clear that everyone had enjoyed their evening . Ian & Callum were kept busy at this Oscars night held at the Holiday Inn Dunstable. All the images from the night have been uploaded to our web site.

For large events we will set up our mobile studio and on-site printing at your event so that guests can leave the event with a photographic image to remember the evening for only £10 per image purchased.
If you would like all your guests to have a free photograph from the evening we can make arrangements.
Sunday saw fotologic in Ironbridge doing a location shoot with Lydia who we met at William Brookes School prom & also Callum, who some of you may recognise from some of fotologics event photography. The weather was kind & the locations stunning as were the models. We will have some further pictures of Lydia & Callum on the fotologic website very soon

fotologic had another busy weekend in the studio & on location with models. On Saturday we had a photo shoot in the studio with Callum, who some may recognise from the William Brookes Prom & the James Bond night with fotologic event photography
Callum came on a location shoot with Lydia on Sunday to Ironbridge, we were incredibly lucky to have a break in the weather, although it was still quite chilly even though the sun was shining.
